Hadn’t realized this before but adobe has an exchange site that allows you to link to Items you are selling elsewhere. For example on Flashden or elsewhere if you are not exclusive.

I had seen it before but thought it was a marketplace as opposed to simply a link exchange. Some of you might be interested in it…

Edit: it might help with SEO , but not sure if the links are visible.

you don’t sell from there apparently – that is what I thought as well. You just upload a link. Try clicking on the ‘buy button’ and you will see what i mean – it takes you off the Adobe site to different sites. For example to a flashden item page or an author’s personal site. So it just links to places where Items are being sold.

What do you think about this idea: We would be able decide how to sell our items:
1. As Exclusive author
2. We are able to set exclusivity to each own items

Is it good?

@Tomez – its actually a little more involved. We would have to keep track of the sales for exclusive vs non exclusive items etc, where as at present we keep track of the author status which is much easier.

We know that there are some members with duplicate accounts. I guess you could create an exclusive and a non exclusive account. Note that you can’t convert Items/sales/information from one account to another…

hmm.. well i tried it so we will see if it gets accepted. Normally these things take ages to get approved, and the low number of files on there would suggest the approval process is strict.
