For me sales also slowed down after the new search engine.

Using analytics I see how incoming visitors number dropped after this change. On my new secondary profile from +-150 visits in first month to +-20 this month.

This month I sold not so much too… All after search engine changed. By the way – how can I rename my item?

I don’t think we can. Maybe with a ticket to support, but I really doubt it.

If the search engine is to blame, then i hope it stays the same. I dont want to jinx anything. But I am crushing my previous monthly records in sales and referral fees. I hope it keeps going. :)

The worst month for now in a past two years :-(
Same here, definitely started going down the toilet once those horrendous search engine changes went live.

When did it go live? I’ve noticed a big drop in my sales as well the past week or so.

Its been on for about 2 weeks solid now I believe. Also for brief periods before that. At first we all thought it was a glitch then it was reported and changed back to normal, then back again lol.. Now support says it’s permanent and standing by it

Yeah its been maybe a week and a half or 2 weeks. I’d like to know how the search engine actually determines relevance, because I’ve been doing a lot of tester searches, and they return really, really perplexing results.

So far as I can tell the search engine likes root words a lot more, or something close to it. You can search all day long for “Inspirational”, but instead of getting results with that in the title, you get a lot of “Inspiration” or “Inspire” or “Inspiring” long before you get the identical keyword you’ve searched.

Maybe I’ll name my next uploads Inspir, Emot or Happ to see if I can game the system.

Best month ever here.

Nice to hear that – we’ve been struggling to get sales hehe.

Well for starters darkmatter2k12 you should just keep uploading great stuff and maybe market your stuff outside Audiojungle. You can check from analytics.envato.com does your music get page views.
Good advice. Will check it asap

I found it. Thanks. And what interesting picture i have! Number of page views was definitely better in February than in March. Still new files exposed fine – they have good amount of views on the day of publishing. So the bottom line is – lets make more and better music
