why one should wait for 3d flash when there’s a perfect and valid solution right now, ten times more powerful and with more features than whatever version of alternativa engine? And it even works on mac devices. And hey, in a couple of months you will actually use actionscript with them even if c# is way more powerful anyway.
So why should I wait for Adobe to invest some pocket changes in some 3d math that even a hobbyist game developer can implement in a few months, while they take with both hands from the developers pretending ridiculous amount of money for each version they release, version that have two or three more features than the one before and at the same time it needs huge exponential resources to run.
Like between cs3 and cs5, what difference it is? And yet I bought a six core processor and zillion of ram memory and the rest of the components off course just to keep more than two of they’re badly optimized software opened at the same time.
So you know what? I have enough of them and they’re 3D scam bait in making me buy a new software. Still remember when they implemented the “2 and a half D” and I lose like three days debugging my application that used stage perspective, only to find out that there was a bug right there from the beginning in they’re implementation of the 3d joke that was passed as revolutionary.

If you’re referring to Unity they actually cross compile to Molehill, so no Molehill no whatsoever
I’m not sure what you mean by the rest though but you don’t need to buy new software (Flash Pro ?) to use the API . The SDK is free, you can just plug it in FlashDevelop for example and start developing right away.
Unity is cool but it serves different purpose, I don’t think I’ll ever make a 3D image gallery with Unity.

yes indeed, but I need to open my clients files that are made with flash or other programs like after effects or photoshop. We are trapped, is a monopoly of the design tool market.

Considering the alternative to a monopoly is multiple vendors each with equally popular products, your point seems to have zero validity. If that were the case you’d have to buy more different versions of software to be able to make sure you could open all your client’s files, not less…
The only good that typically comes from any monopoly is consistency, and you’re complaining about the consistency of software version usage not being to your liking and saying it’s the fault of a monopoly. That’s like saying “Having a slow car sucks because of all the speeding tickets I get.” ....yeah, you can still get speeding tickets in your old clunker, but I hardly think that the car is the cause of the effect…in fact if anything it’s stopping you from getting even more tickets.
Same with adobe’s monopoly. Complain about having to update to a new software version every 2 years all you want, but the alternative is buying 5 different company’s software versions each on a 2 year cycle. Are there other valid arguments for why a monopoly is bad? Absolutely!...I’m just saying this is definitely not one of them.
What? this is not exciting?

That is Adobe. Looks like not majority of the Flash devs know about how bad the 2.5 stuff implemented (they add everything cool but not in an usable way). From looking at Adobe’s engineering works on CS4 and 5, I am sure they are going to mess with things in the future too.
Surely they will be clean on decision making if they have competition for each of their products. That is learning from competitors!
I don’t know about other countries but here, govt staffs are the sloppiest workers. I feel Adobe works just like how a govt dept works! Adopting too much of depts unnecessarily (video, print, web, mobile) so that they fail on few of them and with low awareness. No wonder they have to fix a price for 5.5 series (they collect money for what they failed to add with CS5 ). May be to grow bad relationship with developers too finally. That is the last thing they need to do for total fail.
Come on Adobe , it’s time to release FP11
