Am I a new author

Hi, I’ve just recently started uploading projects and animations to VideoHive, however I had a user for 2 years….I’m really looking forward to see If I got to the top New Authors list but I’m afraid my user is not considered new..even though it’s technically is…can you find out if i’m in the run, please?

Hi I know you guys said I count as an author when I upload a first video Which was at the end of October 2012. In November I’ve sold more than 40 items However I’m not in the top new authors list at all … How did it happen??? I worked really hard all month for this..

As you’ve mentioned, you’ve uploaded a first video at the end of October therefore you could’ve only gone into the Top New Authors of October… The fact November was already the SECOND month in which you’ve had Items for sale, got you “disqualified” as a new author…

There are so many other achievements here to focus on, surely you’ll find plenty of reasons for upcoming months of Hard work

It’s sad since I never really had a fair chance… it’s great for exposure especially for newbies like me…if I’d known I would’ve waited 2 days…

When you got your first sale? End of October or Nuvember? I think they count by first sale not first upload.

my first upload & sale were at the same day- 30.10.12 I realize I should have waited a couple of days to upload my first project…I had no idea it works this way… I figured everybody had a fair shot but as I said I can’t change the past… thanks!
