Hey guys, stumbled upon this as I was doing research to help my cousin start his photography career. It is about stock photographers but the tips and points really do speak true in terms of audio stock. As both a musician and businessman it really made me think.

I found this bit really interesting:

20% of authors get 80% of the business

AND

80% of the business comes from 20% of the clients

Statistically that definitely proves true for AJ. If anything I’d say it’s 10:90 ratio (but that’s because there are lots of authors with just 1 or 2 sales skewing the numbers)
