I know people here have become absolutely obsessed by getting people to notice them, but guys, enough with GIFS and animated Thumbnails and Avatars, I understand you but it’s annoying and brings the overall aesthetics of the site down a tone.
This is just my humble opinion.

the adblock element hiding helper did his job in the specific case that probably fire up the idea for this thread. 
But initial contact is, unfortunately, not avoidable.
