“ERROR: We couldn’t find your form. Please check the URL and try again.”
Weird! Is it working for you now?
Nope. :(

:’( try this: http://www.formstack.com/forms/envato-microlancer_beta_registration

If no luck, try another browser? Seems to work fine for me!
Same response with both FF and Chrome, I’m using Linux so maybe that has something to do with it… oh well.

So strange! The only thing I can suggest is try on a mobile or another computer!! Sorry it’s being a pain for you :(

Just wondering is there going to be any coding category? I would do anything to get another badge :p

I’m very confident there will be. But for launch we’re sticking to Graphic/Creative design services.

The freelance that I generate from the products that I create is now going to other people.

There are more eloquent opinions on the subject here:

Understand where the concern is coming from. Keep in mind though that we haven’t actually announced much about how Microlancer will work yet. Microlancer operates very differently to how Graphiclancer did. Hopefully when we announce more you’ll be able to see the potential it has for people to earn! :)

There is no use complaining at this stage, they decided!

And stock authors depending the marketplace for freelance opportunities isn’t a consistent way to make a living. Personally I do worry their strategy should’t set another trend of low price / high expectation to our buyers – which may directly impact the fairness of item support requests. Hope that will work the other way and actually relax support burden for authors.

Fair enough. But if there’s going to be a “get this item customized” button next to my items I’m not sure how it can be a positive thing, at least for me. But that’s just me speculating so we’ll have to see how the site eventually gets promoted.

I’m sure there’s going to be opportunity on the site and obviously I could get in on it. But the beauty of the way things work now is I don’t spend any time hunting down work. It all just falls in my lap. And anyone who’s made a living freelancing before knows that something like that is absolutely priceless. But it’s not like I just got lucky. I’ve worked my butt of creating items that provide me that luxury.

I know freelance isn’t important to everyone here. Heck, some people are so busy selling they don’t even have time for it! But for me, it’s not the odd little jobs here and there that I’m worried about losing. Instead it’s the big fish I’m going to lose. Customization jobs sometimes turn into big work from long-term clients. But unlike most customization jobs, lucrative long-term clients don’t just fall in my lap. Instead, they’re maybe 1% of all the jobs I take. So it’s simple math: The less requests I get, the less big fish I’ll reel in.

So is the end of the world? No. But am I going to have to adapt? Absolutely. What that entails I’m just not exactly sure yet.
