Hey guys,

I’ve been using Netbeans for a while now for my PHP work simply because its awesome for PHP , but when it comes to CSS /HTML I use Dreamweaver (code bit of it) only because of its Zencoding extension. I used to use Apatana Studio 2 but it used to get very slow on editing long CSS files which was a pain really because all my css file are 1000+ lines.

Is there any IDE or texteditor im missing that combines the PHP bit of netbeans and the HTML /CSS bit of DW with an awesome zencoding extension/plugin? its a pain really to keep moving from one editor to another just to edit different things.

PS: Netbeans has a zencoding plugin but its useless, most of the commands doesn’t work.

Notepad ++ with Zen-Coding plugin. Definitely rocks but if Photoshop and notepad are opened in the same time I get some shortcut errors…

I use notepad++ but I’m always on the look out for new editors.. might have to pay out a bit of cash for one if I ever get my theme approved lol :)

I started playing around with the zen coding plugin for ++ today and I like it but I keep having to check back for the correct way to write the abbreviations.. so that takes away from the fact that it’s supposed to be a time saver… my short-term memory sucks.

@wizylabs, have you tried PSPad, mate?
