I was thinking about setting op an anti IE project for designers and developers. Because Microsoft has enough money to upgrade their browser so why don’t they? And now they are even blocking other browser from being installed on Windows 8. What are you’re thoughts on an anti IE project and more importantly would you participate?
It’s a lost of time, and M$ will never block other browsers for being installed.

Isn’t it only on windows tablets ?
If the other browsers (ff, opera, chrome) will create an metro app and submit it to the store I don’t believe it will be blocked. The RT version does not support x86 apps, so the current browsers versions for desktop will not be supported on RT version.
I hate Internet Explorer. Such a waste thing. IE is always a headache for developers.
