I understand it is a new category and you guys felt the need to give it a ‘boost’ with all of these themes, but I don’t think this was a good idea and I think you guys must be realizing that now as well. We usually have the homepage filled to the brim with fantastic, unique works of art but for the past few weeks all we have had are those same themes, and it just isn’t helping if you ask me.

Some sort of direct action is necessary in regards to the current selection of themes. I think some of the themes are actually great, but there are a bunch that slipped through that I feel really shouldn’t have. I understand there was some type of agreement between Envato and Magentist, but that doesn’t have to stop you from rectifying this situation.

Every time I visit now, I am demoralized further by what I constantly see on the homepage, and I really miss those truly unique, high quality, custom works of art that are normally displayed. I’m not trying to offend the people over at Magentist, but I don’t feel their themes are quite up to par with what is normally offered here. I have a feeling quite a few people will agree with me… Have a look at the Magento category and you’ll even see it’s not just the authors that are unhappy, but also the customers with the selection.
