Hello awesome community,
So, I want to learn German one day. But first, I want to learn English as a native language. Well, right now I’m starting reading on English a cool book called “Rant” the same guy who wrote “Fight Club” (this book got on the big screen). This guy’s name is: Chuck Palahniuk. Then, I’m thinking of buying the collection of Harry Potter on English, because they’re pretty easy to read. I’m also watching movies with subtitles on English, and soon without subtitles.
So what do you think?
¡Gracias! or in German: Danke!
Santiago Degetau.
P.S. Sorry for my bad English

Here’s a lesson:
“Any advices for improving the English?”
should be
“Any advice for improving the English?”

Hola, tu ingles no está mal, al menos cuando escribes. I think the best way to learn english is watch movies (with subs in english), play games, listen music and practice a lot in that language.
Saludos.

Learning a new language is a huge step but can be majorly rewarding. I often think about our authors and how difficult it must be to write their item descriptions in a language that they may just be learning.
If any author wants to run by their product descriptions with me before they put it up for sale, feel free – travis at envato dot com.
I’d be happy to help. Of course, depending on how busy I am at the time, it may take some time to hear back from me

That is impossible unless you grew up to English ( as the word ‘native’ suggests ) maybe
I want to learn English as if it was my native language

Sounds right to me
And I’d like to +1 Doren’s post. Your written English seems pretty good at the moment to be honest.
3 key elements to improve English are : Listen more, Read more, Write more
My writing skills are not that bad, most people understands what I am trying to say, but I have some problem with grammar and tense.
Also my spoken English is very bad.

Practice makes perfect, if you want to learn a language, immerse yourself. Change the language settings on your computer and phone, travel to countries that speak the language, take lessons, if you really want to become fluent in a new language, you have to live and breathe it. It is the only way! Also for anyone who wants help with their item descriptions, feel free to email me as well as Travis. At: carmen (at) envato (dot) com.
