The best way to truly learn a language is to be exposed to it on a daily basis, meaning spending time in the country where the language you are trying to learn is spoken. By being forced to communicate through the language on a daily basis you’ll be able to learn the language in no time ;)

That’s how I learned to speak 5 languages :) I learned English when I moved to the United States, I learned Spanish by spending time in Spain, I learned German by speaking German with my parents and spending time in Germany, etc…

Reading English books and watching English TV will teach you the basics, but being exposed to the language is really to only way you’ll learn it.

Good luck! :)

Woow!! That’s so cool! I know Spanish (native language) & English. And a bit of German. Well, I know the best way to learn a language is to go to the country of the language. But, it isn’t really cheap. And also I’m just 15 years old!

My sister went to USA with a program called “Au Pair”, and it consist on going to USA for 1 year to babysitting. And the program is really cheap, because the family you’re going to stay with, will pay everything (almost). Do you know any of those programs?

I have some questions for you. You said you know 5 languages, but you only mentioned English, German & Spanish. What is your other two languages? And what is your native language?

Danke! Gracias! Thanks! Merci! LOL

Just a note for Stock Design Man, I would avoid reading Harry Potter. True it is a great series of books however Rowling’s writing style can prove tricky to read in parts!

Grab yourself a copy of any roald dahl book instead ;)
