Hello, This is my first themeforest project. As I’m a new template author, I don’t know anything about the requirements to get my future submission approved.

I just finished working on PSD files, But before starting the HTML/CSS part, I’d like to know your opinion / suggestions / critics about it. I mean, aesthetics, design, fonts, etc…

What are the odds of themeforst approving a such template? No matter how simple it is, I appreciate your help.

I have also another question, I got the photos from pixabay.com … I don’t know if It’s okey to use them in PSD / Html.

Please, zoom in to browse in actual pixels.

Thanks you,

Welcome to TF, and good luck with all your future submissions!

To start with, try to improve the following aspects of your design:

1) Typography – try to use consistent font sizes and typefaces 2) Use of whitespace – there’s a lot of uneven spaces (distances) between various elements, e.g. latest properties carousel

Don’t get discouraged if your item doesn’t get approved straight away. It’s quite common for all authors to have several rejections before the item is finally accepted.

I believe you can freely use images from pixcentral.com – they are public domain images, which means you can do anything you like with them (also, sell for profit).

It is far from being approved I think. Looks very outdated. It is hard to enumerate the things that need to be fixed, because there are so many..

Have a look at the items that are currently for sale here, and also have a look at the older items, see how the designs have evolved over the years.

As WenDesignPlanet, don’t get discouraged, keep working hard and you’ll eventually get there! :)

Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply, I consider doing these changes, I’m going to make further changes too.

You’re right, I’m ready to spend 3 other weeks to make it better. It’s difficult to come up with more ideas, but that’s why it’s called work :).

I’m going to try something else, thank you again.

Thank you very much for your reply, so .. I will consider make significant changes in the layouts (actually there are 6 PSDs) ... I just wanted to know first impact of this on other designers.

Have a fruitful day.

Ah, I forgot … I started this thread 4 days ago, I already changed the fonts yesterday … I’m going to post the results later when I do other changes

Have a fruitful day.
