when going to a product I have bought, when clicking the download item from the product page, it just takes me to the downloads section with no file download.

You’re right, it takes you to your downloads page, which in your case can be an issue having bought over a thousand items.

Not trying to hijack this thread but I also noticed that on your dashboard, the news section / announcements on the right of the page all the links are screwed up – some work most all go to one entry only…. boat seems to be springing rather a lot of leaks lately…..
