Adobe has pointed out in its Technote that this OSX release from Apple (10.7) is similar to the initial Snow Leopard release which had hardware acceleration issues for the flash player.

Adobe is also recommending Flash Builder users not to upgrade to Lion ..

I have it on my macbook air (lion) and flash seems fine. Nothing strange at all.
