I use reaper almost from first version. Did you know about the secret game in Reaper? :)

1. open Reaper 2. Go to HELP 3. Click ABOUT REAPER 4. Move your mouse in the center of the credits 5. Hold down the SHIFT key while double clicking

Play :D

Currently I am also trying the trial of Cubase 7. I prefer the look of Reaper than Cubase 7 for sure. I prefer the look of Cubase SX3 than 7. I just installed my old Stylus RMX for use in Reaper but when Reaper is running I can’t find it.

I love Reaper, I have used it for probably 5 or 6 years, and it keeps getting better. Don’t let the price fool you, Reaper is a top notch program.

It is my primary DAW, I especially like how you can customize your own workflow. But you have to use whatever works best for you.
