Internet Explorer 8 (IE8)... it has a button that looks like a torn piece of paper called “Compatibility View: websites designed for older browsers will often look better, and problems such as out-of-place menus, images, or text will be corrected.”
Well, OF COURSE websites are designed for older browsers, IE 8 is brand new! If they know it’s not going to look right, they need to just make it look right to begin with, without having to click a button. That’s like saying,”Hi, I suck. Click this button so I won’t suck any more.”
Why do I need IE8 as a Flash developer?
I wish FlashDen would take emoticons off the Forum. ( IE 8 ) becomes ( IE smiley face with sunglasses on ) .

yeah IE is definetly not
lol
Whether IE sucks or not is not an issue, it’s the most widely used browser accross the board.
Whether or not IE8 is going to make an impact is a different story, to tell you the truth i haven’t even heard of it until i seen this thread, and that is a pritty good indicator that:
A: Mainstream doesn’t even know it exists yet
B: It’s bound to have a wildfire of bugs and bullshit problems with it as it is fairly new/
I agree though, its like what egobuilders said, this new feature seems like a pure crap gimmick that is like saying “Hi, I suck. Click this button so I won’t suck any more.”
LMAO !
STRAIGHT UP ! LOL
IE8 ? I did not notice it.
will check the new feature about it.
yeah, it will finally kill off ie6
