.apng - Animated PNG's

.apng is a new format that’s currently being supported by Firefox 3 & Opera 9.5

It’s an animated .png format that retains all the great perks of transparent png’s without the loss of colors, like the .gif format.

Though it’s not supported by Safari & IE, it will just display the first frame in those browsers.

We just have to wait another 10 years or so until microsoft implements it into their browsers ;D
