Sorry for spamming all of you (especially the AD guys) with all of this apple stuff, it’s just that my mbp is reaching its 1 year term.
Should I get the extended warranty or just risk it? It the extended warranty worth the cost?

If you don’t, you’re committing MBP suicide. It WILL break down within the 3 years and it will cost a good $800-$1500 to fix the motherboard (which is the first to die usually).
Every single MBP I ’ve had has done this, old and new. Apple care is not an option basically.

Couldn’t agree more! Apple care is a must.
First thing to go on my MBP was the HDD , then the motherboard a year later. So yeah, get one!

I thought it usually costs around 150 dollars on ebay? The warranty should be international so you can buy it from anywhere (ebay). I believe the service guys check the serial number of your hardware then and if it has an apple care connected in their system, they will just repair it (around the world).

Yep, they will repair it anywhere in the world. APP is an absolute must for any new Mac, well worth it.
OF COURSE ! Best thing about Apple products in my POV is the warranty and support. Go for it Arik.
