Dell UltraSharp 27” cheaper and better.

Chaper, maybe. Better, no.

Tried to get some info about that Samsung. It is indeed really promising, but I think I might still be up for Apple’s display. Just gotta find a way for it to work :)

Sorry, I forgot that apple do only the best things… Just kidding :D
Dell UltraSharp is better choice for price and quality.
Apple Cinema display has better design, a little bit better quality, and 35% more expensive.

I’m putting on my pedant hat here but one is the best for quality and the other is a little bit better quality?

I’ve had chance to work for some short time with Dell UltraSharp 27” monitors, they’re not bad, but since I tried Apple LED 27”, didn’t turn back. It’s not the design at all, they’re just better in image quality, they’re more crisp/sharp etc.

No, I mean for its price Dell has very good quality. Perhaps I have some mistakes in my spelling. So, I will say the same thing in other words:
Dell has great quality monitor. And this monitor deserves every dollar that you spend.
Apple Cinema display is a good designed thing. It has better quality than Dell, but it much more expensive. And now attention: I don’t think that Apple display deserves every dollar that you spend (I mean only quality, not design).
That is why I said before: “Dell UltraSharp 27” cheaper and better.” IMHO

@DogMotion – got you.

Pedant hat = off. If you had the cash to spend though, would it go on an Apple screen or the Dell?

I would take the Dell monitor and rest of the money I would spend to upgrade my PC :) or would add a little bit and buy second monitor.
But if I had super power PC and spend a lot of money for traveling. And after buying 1000 stupid things, yes, I definitely would get Apple monitor! :)
