Yep i can understand the problem of reviewers yesterday my file was 9th in the Que. and only 2 files got approved before mine and rest got rejected or soft rejected. The ratio is much than 50:50. But there are lots of new guys who are new to the after effects business and that not there fault as according to their skill levels what they create is best according to them and they just upload thinking they will get approved. But reviewer your time is going to get much tougher as more and more guys are getting into envato with good and less skills. So Best of Luck for the future and keep on doing the good job as you already are doing it.

BTW i guess i have given lot of bribe in kind so that my file does’t get rejected. HAHAHAHA lol just joking

I think it should be the opposite way :) I think “bad” authors should have faster queues, so they can get faster feedback to improve their items. This way “good” authors would have longer queues, so the items would stay more time on the home page …

Win for everyone* :D

*Except for buyers :P

If we do it this way Reviewers should also change their title to Teachers. :D

The ratio will always be bigger for rejections, that’s a fact. People will always have some bug, problem, error, thingy that will request fine tuning. Reviewers do just that. They spot what we sometimes forget. As for the wanna-be authors… I don’t wanna talk about this, just go to GraphicRiver and read the Item Feedback tab…. “They rejected my beautiful grey gradient :( ” ....

At the moment the ratio is measured for Hard rejected vs Approved files. Soft-rejections are another story and everyone has their mistakes. They’re temporal rejections. Lets say you have one file rejected, then second approved your ratio would be 1:1 then third file comes in and got soft-rejected. This would change your ratio to 2:1 but as soon as you resubmit and it gets approved it changes to 1:2
