I just note that “Thank you for purchasing my item” is widely used by the authors to thanks the customers for purchasing their items.
Are you agree with that thinking that is a basic manners to be thankful whenever someone buys one of your product?
How about “Congratulations on your choice!” instead?
Don’t you think the customer is really lucky to get your great item for such a low price and no need to thanks him but congratulated instead?
Don’t you feel that saying “Thank you for purchasing” makes your item go down in value a bit?

I usually say thank you, but that’s because I genuinely am thankful. Saying “congratulations” may come across as condescending to some people so not sure it’s the best choice of words.

I disagree. Thanking the customer for purchasing doesn’t make your item less valuable. It shows appreciation because without customers there wouldn’t be any sales and you wouldn’t make any money.

I also say ‘Thank You’. Despite how low item maybe priced, it is still not a simple thing for one to sell his/her item so for that, I am grateful and thankful.

or

The spotty kid should say “Congrats” when you just get the Big Mac in your hand, not when you give him your money :)

Ehm, I feel kind of stupid now, but as of when can we see who has purchased our works? How am I supposed to contact customers to thank them if I don’t have the slightest clue who to contact in the first place? I just triple-checked everything, yet nowhere can I see any information on who bought my material (I would like to know that though). The only thing I’m seeing is like ”<date> Referral cut – from referred user <name> – <amount> <rate%>”. In that same list my sales are listed yet those entries don’t show a name or contact info or anything. Nor can I click the sale for further info (just brings me to the sold work where no client-info is available either). Hm, I get the feeling I’m missing something haha (am new around here).
