Hi all, I am working on a project where I have to open an image into a flash. It’s basically an image viewer where you have the Image holder MC an “Open Image” button and when I click on the button the OS browse window appears letting me to search for an image and when OK clicked it will make a loadMovie(image) to the holder…

Any help appreciated! :)

Hi. You will need to use FileReference class to do that (you can’t do with simple loadmovie). More information about that class (in AS2 ):

http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0_es/main/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?context=LiveDocs_Parts&file=00001677.html

In Kirupa you have a good tutorial about this:

Hope this helps
