Good day,

I recently purchased the full version of Aspire, and upon installing it into Wordpress, I constantly get a ‘Failure to install’ notice. Is there any possible reasons as to why I am getting this message? I am not even sure if this theme works or not and am thinking that I have made a bad buy.

Any help regarding the solution to this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I managed to upload successfully, but when I look at mt website: http://www.sorethumbproductions.com it is completely blank!? This is very frustrating, any help will be appreciated.

Of coarse the theme works! Have you thought that the issue might be on your end for one second, (not reading documentation properly, uploading the theme incorrectly etc etc) ?

Yes I did read the documentation, and I even went as far as to read the forum rules, hence my starting of a new thread. Apparently you’re not interested in helping me, but gee, thanks for the copy & paste comment. My theme is still not working, so then surely this issue with it extends furthur then your unhelpful opinion. The author has a one month backlog, of which I am not willing to wait, because this theme should work when I purchased it. I have not ruled out that the issue might be on my side, this is why I am asking for helpful advice..

Ok – after checking out your URL – I’m actually not even sure an email is required… maybe you did read the instructions, maybe you didnt – but you it looks like you haven’t filled out the theme options panel (on the far left and far bottom of your admin panel). Please make sure you take the time to open up the theme documentation too! It’s in the folder labeled “Start Here” and I took a lot of time to carefully explain each and every installation step. There’s even a video for how to do it inside the “Installation_Instruction” document.

If you still run into problems, drop me an email and I’ll be more than happy to help out.

As always – each and every person is here to help out otherwise they wouldn’t bother replying ;)

Thank you kindly Daniel – now if I could figure out how to sleep 1 hour a day and run support the other 23, I’d be the ideal author ;)

@sorethumb – please please please let us authors know directly when you run into issues like this – it’s honestly in our best interest as authors to make you buyers happy as clams – so don’t ever hesitate to drop me a personal email, twitter message, or comment on the product board. There’s always a backlog (always! which is why I’m launching a separate forum altogether), but I do my best to get to every urgent matter in a timely manner. This week was a little different because I took time away from support to setup the forum, but I assure you that any delays in support will be worth it when the new forum is ready for action!
