And it’s not just audiojungle. Many of these stock sites really stick it to the content creators when it comes to earning splits. 35% for a non exclusive and 50% for exclusive? Honestly, it’s almost criminal.
While I really like this site and the way music is sold, it really is a step backwards for the content creators. In my world, half is a given. It’s just the way things are done when you get into the ares of licensing and publishing. Ahh, but we are a new kind of company that does things a little differently you say. The only thing that says to me is that you give less to the artists who create the content.
My personal opinion is non exclusive should be 50% and exclusive should be 60%
I don’t want to come off as a bitter troll. It’s just my opinion. I don’t think it’s unfair to say that if I do half the work, I want half the money.
.... here we go again…
We should dedicate a section in FAQ for this issue LOL
We should dedicate a section in FAQ for this issue
We should dedicate a section in FAQ for this issue LOLOr increase earnings percentage to fix it forever
but when you stick with it and ride it out, and get a decent folio going, the traffic does pay off.. my 2 bits.
I agree gas money.
its the micro-stock world…honestly Pro, it may seem a bit steep at first…but I am not exaggerating when I say that at least once a week, someone posts a similar thread…but then within 1 to 2 weeks later, they almost always come back and say they realize why it is the way it is, and agree with it now.
Pricing is an issue for many people at first, but give it some time, you’ll probably come around. Plus 50% is pretty decent when you become exclusive…and remember that exclusive here does not mean, you can ONLY upload files here. You can sell at other sites as well, it just means that anything sold here can ONLY be sold here…as long as you are uploading things to other sites, that arent already uploaded here, you are good to go.
I think before you can post on there forum you should have to tick a “do you agree with flashden pricing policy” checkbox.
