I dislike the change. Quoted from link:
The order of comments in ‘Your Recent Comments’ from ‘My Account’ was changed recently. I think it’s a bad move.
Previously I could quickly hit that page, and look at the first comment listed. If my avatar was there, then I knew I had responded to all comments.
Now my replies are nested beneath the customer’s comment. Now I have to check the first item and second item every time, and possibly third item.
This is a big inconvenience for authors (who don’t have an RSS feed for recent comments available either…hint hint devs) or (email notifications of comments).
Hmm, you make a good point. I have a fix in mind . You’ll have to wait until tomorrow for it to be deployed however.
PS: It’s not an RSS feed, sorry.
So, instead of the original order staying based on the most recent post from the buyer, it brings the comment I just replied to up to the top. Can we make the sorting only consider user posts and not the author responses or am I the only one having this problem?
I considered doing it both ways and decided to go with the simple option. I was concerned only counting non author responses as activity could be confusing. We’re open to feedback on this though.
@ Ezza — If you put the nested comments above the original (reverse chronological at thread level) that would work great.
Grouping conversations on the file pages is nice for buyers, but when I answer comments, I don’t care if it’s in a conversation or not. I just want to see it at the top of the list (and not in a conversation) because this is how I know what’s been answered and what hasn’t been. The new way is more work.
Here’s an example of how easy the old way was:
1) I go to my account
2) I see three buyer comments at the top above my last answer
3) I know I have three comments to answer
4) No sorting through conversations
Support already takes forever, please don’t make it more difficult for us
P.S. I know for a fact I’m going to overlook questions with the new way. This isn’t good for customers.

I used to check the top avatar, if it is mine I move otherwise I know there is a comments needs a reply.
can be implemented a method to clear/hide the comments from dashboard?
+1 to GravityDept’s point. I don’t have the amount of comments you guys might have and I’m already losing time looking through everything to see if there is a new unanswered comment.
