I’ll let the Devs know right now![]()
Just wondering if all these UI decisions are made by developers themselves? There is no guidance from user experience staff? In such case, the iterations and changes going to be redundant after each and every minor change – like a never ending rat chase without particular results.

Our new head Dev that’s just recently come on has been really accommodating in our efforts to get the community and the development decisions all aligned
Expect greater communication and updates as we move forward.

hahaha, so now the problem is the entire users of Envato have to wait until new dev gets familiar with the marketplaces. It is not fair to start nearly a dozen marketplaces (without taking a breath), get a deep reach in the industry, pull most skilled authors inside but never utilize experienced staff’s knowledge and time for interface/user experience related part (probably reserved them only for new ventures?). Well you guys have tonnes of reasons for not doing this boring part of maintaining user experience
Well, even though I complain a lot about certain things, personally I can live happily without even most basic options – that’s not my problem. The community and industry (especially theme, wp ones) definitely deserves a few times more attention & care than what you guys do as of now. No worries, I am one of those who will never complain again to save time and energy!

Cool! But that’s not an answer at all. Meanwhile another morning – another scrolling…
This is my opinion, but I believe most selling authors will share it. Guys, author dashboard is a serious issue. Your changes to author dashboard UI are not good for TF authors. We do not need that “upload” box – we do not want to submit tons of crap every day. We need to answer comments. Please note that I’m not even saying about searchable comments, support forums integrated to items pages, etc. All I’m asking is to bring back the paginator.

very smart developers on envato.
people ask for lot of stuff.
devs change some random interface elements/remove functionality
people desperately ask for those changes to be reverted and DEVS DON ’T TOUCH ANYTHING ANYMORE !
envato developers back to what they did before pesky authors start asking for stuff
CRISIS AVERTED
There are tens of issues that need to be solved, some of them that can be fixed in minutes, yet they seem to not care, but obviously they don’t forget to add a new annoying banner when a new bundle is coming, they don’t forget to make new bundles. Envato only caring about their profits may work now, but in the long-run they’ll regret it.
Since the day I was completely ignored because I missed the withdrawal date by 8 minutes, the things were pretty clear to me. They can’t put a damn clock on the website so we can see what’s the time in Australia. I understand that there are certain rules, they said they can’t make exceptions because anyone would want this. So it is possible, but they don’t want to do it because it would be quite hard for their finance team. Then what are they paid for? To play ping-pong in the office?
So guys, just get used to it, they don’t care at all about you, me or anyone else.
Not trying to get on the gravy train but you guys should really know nothing will be done here, as past requests have shown us. It’s better to make your own scripts for chome/firefox to do things that you want unfortunately
Actually sometimes when I read through all those posts and critique, I ask myself why not create your own marketplace. I don’t mean every author should make his/her own marketplace but alltogether? There are so many developers out there from every single niche. Theme-Design, Frontend Development, Backend Development, so many various talents reaching from authors who know more about Social Media, while others know more about Video Advertising – yet it isn’t possible to group together and make an open, community-driven marketplace with some kind of democratic elected management where all authors drive the whole project into a specific direction. I know it probably won’t earn that much as envato for example but who knows?
As long as you don’t think about this – nothing will happen.

I believe that’s not so. I think Envato understand perfectly well that authors are a foundation of their business. And we understand that Envato is base for our business. In fact many of us owe them everything.
Personally I’m not complaining, but only asking to change that “minor” layout element.
@EireStudio. Ta. I guess I’ll just go google something like “how to write a script for chrome”
