Author recognition

I think it is about time the talented authors on here received the recognition and respect they deserve. Yes I am an author but as anyone can see am yet to submit any files so I have nothing to gain here.

We see countless threads claiming themes do not work, missing stylesheets, absurd requests for customisations or even worse complete file rip offs.

Of course we all want peoples’ experience on Themeforest to be a positive one and it goes without saying that the community goes out of its way to help people struggling. Of course there are some bad examples but these are hugely outnumbered by positive and happy customers.

Noone forces anyone to buy from here and I think it is about time that all of us authors and buyers alike appreciate:
- The incredible value for money we receive here in terms of quality and choice
- The exceptional skills and time it takes for the authors to create the great files available
- The dedication and courteous sacrifice of their time to support their themes even when it is not required.

Too often we see people criticizing authors or being negative, without them there are even “developers” and “web designers” who would be out of business! Not enough time is spent being grateful for the outstanding products they bring to us.

Of course its just my opinion but to the authors and Envato thank you

Ha ha while i greatly appreciate the kind comments the purpose of this thread was not to self indulge it was to simply highlight the talent here and the effort that goes into it. Without the authors dedication there would be no Themeforest.

Yes there are GLWS and “great work” comments on items but in the forums we see complaints or issues daily. When prior to this thread (ok and one other individual one this morning!) did someone crop up thanking the authors.

I work in creative & design so it is easy for me to appreciate the results, but while I understand not everyone is as experienced and some negativity is simply due to confusion, it is still frustrating that so many people do not recognise or at least take a moment to consider what goes into producing these files.

Yeah charlie is one of best author i found in marketplace, who always help community as much he can.
