I think Charlie is spot on and on top of that I think it REALLY says something that I am the first and only non author to comment and support this thread.

What does that tell us about the user split between authors and buyers that are looking here more often or alternatively then more worryingly the exact lack of recognition for authors that this thread is about?

I’ve just got an idea… You know when you release items like a theme, you have to include that licence.txt file etc.

Well, maybe we should setup something like a respect file, with your post or something like that in it! Written for the buyers. And also include that file from now on in every theme.

Ofcourse not a attacking written text, but you know something like in this post in a kind way.

I’ll say let’s create such a ‘respect.txt’ file ( something )

@ChapterThemes – would never get read just like the documentation etc!

Charlie is right these many of the authors give up their free time to support themes even when this is not even their main job. How many people in other professions go out of their way and give up their free time to better the service? Not many i doubt!
