Has anyone got spam on their item comments like this? Found some and reported it this morning but just trying to work out if its only targeted at us or is happening to others also.

Noticed some other comment spam e.g. here

Last comment, added their “seo link” into the comment… are comment pages noindexed (can’t see anything in the header to say it is).

This has got to be the dumbest marketing strategy ever.

Just like 90% of the “GLWS” comments that are not out of genuine interest, but with the pure reason to simply exist there and maybe provide a link to the comment author’s page… maybe someone will click your name and get to your portfolio and buy something.

There are a few TF authors that no matter how great or not that great a product is, they leave a GLWS/awesome/etc comment on each and every new item.

If you ask me, that’s still comment spam.

Well, we got used to spam in the item comments section but the weird thing this time was that user offering to sell our own item for half the price in its comment area
