Agree that Javascript is a standard and today it has a big influence in computer science, but even if it is a standard it shouldn’t be used in a wrong way. I bought a template(not CMS) some time ago, to be exact it was included in a bundle created by Envato and I had no idea how to edit it. Even if I modified the CSS, the changes were not visible on front-end, because after a few hours, searching in files I found that the columns are created with jquery and every row should have a unique ID. This was a real PITA to modify it and in the end I decided to find another template or to make my own.
