After 3 years decided to create an item, and it got rejected.

After getting drunk, kicking the cat ( not mine ) and dusting myself off, I have addressed at length the rejection issue ( docs not clear enough )

So my question is, having just re uploaded the changed files, how long does approval or re-rejection ( argghh ) take. Is it the same length of time as if it were a new item ?

Yes the same. Because most of the length of time you are in processing queue and the approval or rejection doesn’t take much usually.

You mean resubmitting after soft rejection? That’s a much quicker queue, probably a few hours at most.

I wasnt aware there was a difference or options for being rejected lol.

The item was rejected, based on the docs not being explanatory enough for users who don’t know php. With some recommendations on approval. As rejections go it was quite a nice email to be honest lol.

So hopefully it was a soft rejection.

I didnt kick a cat I wouldnt be that cruel. ...sniggers at some cat jokes I know

When you find your item inside the “Hidden” tab, and you reuploaded it via the edit-tab of the item’s page, then it’s a soft rejection :)

It’s funny that a community superstar doesn’t know the two types of rejections – I guess your items were just all approved :)

Look under the “Hidden” tab. If your item is soft rejected you can see it there.
