I would do it, but it just doesn’t seem like a real interview. It just seems like you are answering the same boring questions that everyone else is answering in the past.
When I was doing work for Five Ounces of Pain, we would do interviews with Professional MMA Fighters, and we found that giving them different questions to answers, made people more interested in the interviews.
I think that Envato could do the same thing here, they could personalize the interviews more and make them not so boring. We all know what to expect from the interviews just by reading ones in the past.
That’s my 2 cents.

You are absolutely right! That is what we do in our blog/magazine, we ask different questions according to the person we interview.
