Well, finally I deleted all my files. And to push it along was the fact that I got a comment on one of my files that asked for support. And what do you know, the person didn’t buy it. What’s that tell ya. I would go into detail, but I’m sure envato would be glad to take the money in my account after banning me for mentioning it. So, I’ll wait.

So looking forward…what plans do you have for the future (that is, if you care to share them).

I still don’t see why you keep deleting your entire portfolio every time.
For me is perfectly clear. Is like destroying all connections with a type of life you want to never come back.
Yeah, but in this case is like if a $100 note drops from your pants, and you don’t want to look back to see if it’s still on the floor.

No, the example you got has no connection. Even if aw_shucks earned some money here, it was not enough for all the time and work he invested in creating those files. The results were not what he expected. And he had some expectations, but they were not fulfilled.

But if the files had remained here, in the future, the temptation to try again with a different file would have been to big. Hoping again, and “failing” again. All the create, publish, bad results cycle would have repeated.

This fail off course is from his own eyes, as we read here many comments showing sincere appreciation for his work, and many of us know the value of his work, but anyway, it was a fail from his own eyes.

Is aw_shucks come back in the future with a new file even if he deleted this old files? I give it a 90% chance for yes. This behavior of getting out and going in of “bad” behaviors is typical. Like alcoholism, or drug use. :)

Well, sorry aw_shucks for analyzing you like this :) just wanted to make other people understand why you, in my opinion, deleted those files. Off course I may be wrong and maybe you deleted the files because you won 100 millions at the lottery. But anyway that’s my idea.

Good luck with your new projects. :D

Doru, you’re right on one part, that I wanted to delete my files because it isn’t worth it to leave them here. And WickedPixel is right about them being good as an online portfolio, but I figured why not use my files on my own site as my portfolio? I don’t need to keep them up here, when if I would, they would only serve to benefit those who steal. So, I decided to use them some other way. I do have plans for myself, so its not like I’d be stupid for going… if you knew what those plans are. But Doru, you’re wrong about me wanting to come back. It wouldn’t be worth it.
