I just added an often-requested feature. Users and items will not show the star rating until they have 5 votes. Many authors have complained in the past that a new item was killed early by one nasty rating. Now it will take 5 nasty ratings to cause the same anguish.

No, really, stop the cheering. You are making me blush. You are too kind. 8-)

My only upload so far sold very little but at least it gave me a 5 star rating for the last 6 months … now its gone!

I appreciate you trying to address the problem of lowballing but you’ve used a sldge hammer to drive in a thumb-tack here. Now an author could build a portfolio of well crafted but low selling specialty items and never get an overall start rating!

Why not just use a system like the olympic judged voting system where the lowest score(s) are not taken into account in the overall rating.

(Well you did ask us to stop the cheering ;) )
