Hi guys !
Recently I started to feel some pain in my back and in my neck.
I think its related to my wrist that hurt too ..
I heard that using the mouse too much is bad and can cause that kind of injury. I changed my desk , my chair , my mouse , my monitor .. Nothing changed …
When im not working on the computer , my back is perfect .. no pain at all ..
Do you guy ever suffer from this ? I really need help , I really want to work.
thanks !
well sometimes for me my back just hurts out of no where and usually people say back pain is just for old people but i guess for thse who stick to computers for most of the day slouching without good posture can have a negative effect on you. Also I recommend getting one of those gel cushions for your wrist, really useful and prevents injury to that bone area by your wrist. Hope this helps you out

Thanks , I will try the gel thing.
Now im using the mouse with my left hand to give my right hand a break and see if its really whats give my back pain.
The problem is that I dont know what I have to change .. is it the desk .. is it the mouse , the chair .. or the keyboard ? .. It driving me nuts !
back pain can derive from not sitting straight enough, Sitting in an angle( slouching) for too long will have long term damage to your back as well you might not be knowing, right now it make be doing something to it.
another thing is the height in which you sit focusing on the monitor, can also cause you to slouch to suit your needs of your eyes. try adjusting your chair height to fir your eye level with your monitor’s.
I really do hope these tips help you out, cause they sure did me.

Thanks man ,
Yesterday I bought something to put on my chair and it really work .. really support my back .. For the monitor .. everything is fine too .. I really think its the mouse ..
I read somewhere that someone put a book on his lap and use the mouse there .. tomorrow I will try to make something confortable like that.
Thanks again … honnestly im not girly but today I had tears in my eyes because I think its really frustrating not to be able to work because of that without knowing what to change .. I really hope that new solutions will help me ..

Another thing to try is a trackball, a few of the guys here in the office use them and find them really good.
It might also be worth doing some reading on correct computer posture to make sure your desk chair and monitor are positioned optimally. Don’t try to work through it, take it easy until you’ve figured it out.

I’d advise getting one of these expensive, REALLY soft chairs. They’re awesome.
Furthermore, a Tablet really helps to get rid of your wristpains

Yeah I tried the trackball , its good for the back but its not for the wrist .. there is no support ..
And I HATE working with a tablet (I tried that too) lol
Thanks guy !
exercise is the key. also, after a hour of work in the front of computer, take a break (10-15 minutes) and do something else.
that helps.
Sounds like you have RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury)
Take a look here for some info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repetitive_strain_injury
