If this site was truly a bargain basement wouldn’t it attract more people? Maybe buyers think the songs are low quality because of the price range. There was talk of upping the prices soon, not sure when though.
Audio Jungles prices are pretty low compared to other stock sites out there. However, this can seen as an advantage if you don’t buy into the theory that cheaper means lower quality. Apple iTunes was laughed at when they started selling single songs for .99 cents. They are now the world’s number one music retailer. With that being said, AJ can do without a “bargain basements” section.
Maybe they didnt like the fact that a bb file was in the top 3 for a while lol.
Aha you nailed it!!! Is that backwards or what?!?? Instead of embracing what’s working they are working backwards. Mannn I wish I could start my own site !!!

The Bargain Basement was one of the ways to gain more exposure for your portfolio. I’m going to miss the BB section if it’s gone.
I actually found the bargain basement very useful for small authors who find difficult to gain exposure. The “problem” of this site is the lack of exposure for smaller authors and that was a way to be seen.

Exactly! I agree with you
Strange that this collection exist and there is a link to it, but no items.
Weird, I just clicked the Bargain Basement link, and got straight in – all the tracks are still there – and still previewable. Tried it again a few minutes later, and just took me to the unclickable BB collections page that you’re all seeing.
Not sure what’s going on there. Updated my cache maybe? Either way, the tracks are still in the actual collection.

Hey guys,
Sorry, there was a minor miscommunication on our end. We’re doing some in-depth research to see how effective the BB actually is on each marketplace. Does it really help kickstart lesser known, but good files? Do the authors end up making more money? Does it drive people to other portfolio items? Do buyers actually go to the BB or are they just finding cheap files by sorting by price? Unfortunately, some got shut down a little early. We’ll bring them back for now, but there’s a good chance we’ll be dropping this program on at least some of the sites in the near future. Either way, we’ll keep the community informed.
