Hi, my last 2 themes have been rejected so I’ve decided to ask what you guys think before I submit this so I don’t waste time putting it all together ready for upload if it needs to be changed.
The theme can be found here: http://simnorcomputing.com/themeforestwp/?wptheme=darkportfolio
I would appreciate what you guys think…

body font #fff; bg a shade darker. everything else is fine with me. Nice job.
Technically – I don’t see anything wrong with the theme, there is a margin issue in chrome but I don’t see it in FF.
Design – You are obviously running the risk of it being too plain.

Personally, I think the colours are fine. However, I would add a bit more padding to the page navigation li’s at the top; and also to the bottom of the sidebar widgets.
BTW , is it just me, or does your Firebug also go a little weird on the pages? It highlights each of the elements slightly off. Probably just me though.

I think it looks nice. You have some padding issues on the Portfolio page.
Also, check out your site in Chrome. As @creativecommittee said, you have some margins/padding issues that will need to be fixed.
That’s really cool. U could make it more interesting by adding more grafic features like icons and so.
Cool, nice looking and clean. Though it has already been mentioned you do run the risk of the design being too simple.
I think it will do the trick for a simple effective theme which does have the polish that I would expect to see. Are you planning to offer different colours for the background?
Providing more customisation options over other templates might help promote it and make it more valuable because at the moment it will fall into the category of ‘just another wordpress blog’ far too quickly.

Personally I think your body text should’t be the same color as your tagline. I would brighten it up a little more but I wouldn’t bring it up to #fff because then it will be the same color as your headlines.
Other than that, on the home page it feels like the slider area background should be darker than both the top and bottom areas to give it more separation. That’s just my opinion though.
Then what the other guys said also. Looks good though, nice and clean.
Why is there only right arrow to the slider area? It’s not such a problem but it would be nice if there was a left one too.
Cheers guys, I’ve made some changes to the theme, if you have chance could you let me know what you think of the changes: http://simnorcomputing.com/themeforestwp/?wptheme=darkportfolio
@segen: I tried changing it to #fff but it was a bit too hard on the eyes so I’ve went with xmdsys
I think I’ve corrected the padding issue on chrome, I presume it was the sidebar. I may add more colour options if I get chance. And I don’t have a left slider button because things don’t line up nicely if I add one.
Thanks
