I have a Canon 7D. One of the best camera’s I’ve seen… But to shoot a really briliant photos, you also need a lot of additional equipment like studio light, lenses, filters, reflectors… etc etc

Check the google, you’ll find a lot of tutorials, reviews about photo shooting…

Don’t read wikipedia. Information about DSLR cameras changes so rapidly – wikipedia can’t keep up with it. Read real blogs. If you’re interested in DSLR video shooting. Some great blogs are cheesycam.com, dslrfilmnoob.com I’m sure someone could suggest you some great photography targeted blogs as well.

Thanks for your suggestions

I don’t want to capture videos i am only looking for a professional still photography camera with high resolution 14mpx to 24mpx within less budget.

Almost all options on market will bring fullHD video feature for that resolution. I own a Nikon D7000 and is a really nice machine, but of course, never buy a pack with the horrible lenses that the pack includes. Buy the body and expend a good money on a bright lense(s). You can even buy old lenses, i’m using it with analogic lenses from my old negative Nikon body, and the results are great. What i mean is that you don’t need to buy a shiny new DX nikon lense, almost any nikon nikkor lense with cpu will do the same work. I never use the video mode, but it’s there, in case some day i want to use it. And with a good lense, it will brign you much more quality than any medium range video camera on market.

I would recommend Canon 5D Mark II. There is a higher Canon model, but the price difference is huge.

Take a look at some videos taken with 5DM2: http://vimeo.com/tag:canon5dmark2

And yes, the lens is what makes the difference. Invest in a good camera body and then keep investing in great lenses! ;)
