It would be cool if we could compile a table of hosts, and see how many authors/buyers are with each company.

I have just googled and read some bad reviews about godaddy but i still have a different opinion about them. I have no problems with their control panel at all nor with their hosting… While i would love a live chat customers service it doesnt bother me too much if i phone them for help (with skype) :) as they are pretty helpful over the phone.

Godaddy was my first (and the best) haha

I have tried other hosts before and paid a whole 6 months or more of hosting and just was not the same and i wasnt happy with it so i asked for a refund. Other hosts just disappointed my exceptions that godaddy fulfilled, for me :)

I have a shared hosting plan with them and i host several websites with no challenges…

The agency I work at uses media temple, but personally I would choose hostgator over them anyday :) Ive used slicehost, dreamhost, 1and1, and a plethora of other hosts… and I still find hostgator the best, been using them for many years.

...have had a reseller account with hostgator for years and can’t say enough good things about em’. Also had my personal site on Bluehost for 6 years without issue, but I don’t do much with them anymore but let it run – I utilize hostgator pretty good though as it hosts everything, including some crazy config for AdRavage.

Yeah I think there are a lot of tables out there comparing them, with reviews etc.. but they just haven’t portrayed anything like the experience I have had.

I to am with hostgator and they have been great in explaining why things are the way they are and then helping me change the things i needed changing.

I guess what I was getting at with the table compiled of users here on themforest is, we would be able to see and hear from people who are using hosting in similar ways to how we use them. Then we can get a clear idea of how they compare for our needs.

I think we dont need to bad mouth any companies, by being on the list, it is assumed they are meeting the needs and are good to work with. If they are not on the list, then likelihood is, no one on tf uses them. There is probably a good reason for that.
