Hey today i almost fell into trap of someone trying to get my pay pal, please beware of these people, the email looks legit, plus the email address is the same. The mail has an attachment when opened it directs your to a page to update all your information.(this is where you get caught) these are the things i remembered you should know.

1. For security reasons pay pal shall not ask you to reply to them on email. 2. pay pal can not ask you to update your password, card number… they already have these 3. using some software it is possible to imitate any email address.

Guys be careful the world is not always a safe environ.

enjoy your christmas

I got a very realistic amazon fake order confirmation too, saying I’d supposedly bought $1,000-type electronics, with a different shipping address, then ‘click here to login and update your address’. the criminals are getting clever; personally I never click on links from emails like that, hover over the email and check instead in the lower-left of your browser, what the URL is, and it’s often to some suspicious place, which should never be clicked (since they have java exploits/trojans on landing pages). so I just ignore/delete those emails.

I get them now and again when they get through my servers dns blacklists… if you EVER get anything like that just go and check the real website but they’re usually fake. You’ll get them if your address has been sold on or posted on an online forum or site somewhere…
