Generally, for the consumer, the whole purpose of Black Friday/Cyber Monday, in terms of shopping/buying, is to purchase goods at a lower price. A day of promotions, offers and discounts. A marketer’s delight!
In our case, there’s not much we authors can do, since item prices are fixed and can’t be changed for the occasion. Everything remains the same, no more sales than usual.
Envato’s “Black Friday” was, in essence, the Bundle Week. Hopefully in the future they’ll take full advantage of the date and cook up something special for both, buyers and authors.
