Boasting Threads

Am I only one who is pretty annoyed by these boasting threads like “100500 sales!!!” The whole forum is full of these threads…. Maybe it’s time to create the special thread for these “sharings of happiness”? Yes, i’ve also created threads like that a few ago but guys… I think it’s time to stop it

Not annoyed at all, I think it’s great that people feel they can post things like that on here without being criticised (most of the time), it’s a good community spirit here on AJ and I wouldn’t change it personally.

I think those threads are display of amateurishness. Being an amateur is okay, but let’s keep it within the boundaries of good taste , otherwise it’s a matter of time before the forums look like this:

I don’t mind them, especially for big milestones. I think it’s less about boasting and more about just being excited and celebrating an accomplishment, and also in part to give thanks to staff, the community and buyers.

It maybe wouldn’t hurt to have a special section of the forums for these announcements, or even a page somewhere that lists a bunch or recent milestones, like a list of authors who achieved various color paw changes in the last week or whatever.
