Boasting Threads

I think it’s less about boasting and more about just being excited and celebrating an accomplishment, and also in part to give thanks to staff, the community and buyers. It maybe wouldn’t hurt to have a special section of the forums for these announcements, or even a page somewhere that lists a bunch or recent milestones, like a list of authors who achieved various color paw changes in the last week or whatever.

Well, I thought I was exaggerating but it really happened. The forum page has never looked so “interesting” and “informative” as today:

So, once again, how about a separate “achievements” section?

Maybe we should create ONE general topic for paws, one for number of sales, one for newcomers (aka hello, it’s my first post), one for featurings etc…?

There IS such a topic : Yay1-thread. But how you tell all the noobs about it?

Add this to forum’s rules and delete new threads.
Separate “achievements” section is great idea too

To me it’s not amateurishness, but just celebrate every small success in this space, sharing it with other colleagues. (I don’t think customers like reading boring forums, for them, when working). In the past during my audio-jobs I collaborated with big companies but I’ve always celebrated every little victory …buying a pie for me and my girlfriend (is what I like best ) or writing in AJ forum in this case.
I think it’s just a way to live life..

Unfortunately, in the forum there are some negative aspects, first, forum AJ – not alone, are also present here the guys from other parts Envato … Secondly, this old topic in a forum that should be closed after some-the time (with some exceptions) ... and in the third – we already have a section called “off topic” where we can publish their achievements, but the problem in the tab AJ, there appears everything, it seems to me that this tab superfluous, because anyone can go to any other, where the message was posted

Fully agree to this > please switch all “Congrats” to Off Topic or create an own category “Posing and Congrats”. Don´t get me wrong to be enviously to those guys, but it so boring.

In a real forum I want to discuss musical issues not “Backslapping”
