Anything by Chuck Klosterman is absolutely a joy to read, google him sometime
I’m reading “Learning jQuery v1.3” from Karl Swedberg
Any favorites to recommend ?I would recommend any form of reading from any author but related to science and mystery of our own existence. Something like this article which we probably don’t hear from usual news channels.
spacecollective.org << have fun with that.
Currently reading Core Python Programming / Designing Social Interfaces / Designing for the web (Mark Boulton).
I got half way through Dante and couldn’t take it.
Fav novels: A clockwork Orange and 1984. Also loved “American Psycho”
@Joost
With regards to Dutch literature, if I ever see “De donkere kamer van Damokles” again, I will torch it.
I love reading (I always have a book or magazine in my bag to read in the metro, in the park, everywhere!) so I can recommend you José Saramago, Gabriel García Márquez, John Von Düffel, Thomas Keneally, J.M. Coetzee, Peter Forbath, Umberto Eco… And the classics by Charles Dickens, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Leon Tolstoï… OMG , there’s so many!!
BTW , I absolutely recomend “How to be a graphic designer without losing your soul” by Adrian Shaughnessy.
Good reading

Great book I am reading now is:
Pursuit of Honor by Vince Flynn http://www.amazon.com/Pursuit-Honor-Novel-Vince-Flynn/dp/1416595163/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1256138223&sr=8-1
This is the first real book (paper novel I have read in a long time. Most of my reading is along the lines of software specific and other design related subjects.
A few of my favorite are:
Designing interactions by Bill Moggridge
The Art of Innovation by Tim Kelley
The Ten Faces of Innovation & Execution : The art of getting things done!
There’s nothing like reading Jerome K. Jerome’s comic books. It’s a different experience than reading an electronic ebook.
I remember I enjoyed How to Lie with Statistics by Darrell Huff, even though it is a rather old book.
