The Basics Of Hacking And Penetration Testing _ a must know for people who run there own server or create software for themselves or for others to purchase
Books are great, no commercial, ads or annoying pop-ups. Currently reading Tolstoy, pretty much impressed. Mostly, reading is fun and enjoyable, although sometimes it can be quite the opposite, instead of giving some value, they take value from you but nonetheless books also should be carefully chosen.
I can recommend you an amazing piece of work:
Marketing Management by Philip Kotler, it was my basis during university
I’m still reading “The Lost Symbol” from Dan Brown
Pretty much only read tech books. Latest one was “PhoneGap Essentials”
George Martin “Feast for Crows”, 2nd re-reading, almost done. Then will read (the 1st) next 5th book of his great ASoIaF – “Dance with Dragons”. Cause this spring will bring to us awesome 3rd season of “Game of Thrones” (amazing fantasy TV series based on Martin’s ASoIaF saga), I so excited. I like his books. Nothing is better in SF&F, just maybe Tolkien’s books only.
The last book I read was, In Search of Lost Time. In one word, it’s beautiful.
I can relate so much to this thread. I wanted to be a writer. 30 short stories, 3 abandoned novels, and over 100 rejection letters later, at 18, I gave up.
