I am currently working on my new WP framework with foundation
If someone could explain is it possible to make non-responsive design with Foundation and have option to easily switch between responsive and non-responsive design as it is possible with Bootstrap?
I’ve been using foundation for quite a long time now and its awesome, especially version 3. It’s also possible to switch off the responsive layout by removing the media queries and removing the viewport metatag from the header.
They are both great (the best in my opinion). I have already used both on my themes and now I have kind of a mix. I would say that this:
- For easy responsiveness and fast layout prototyping go for foundation;
For a more complete framework use Bootstrap;
This is my perception… It’s not scientific!
I prefer foundation, Because I find it easy to understand and implement as compared to Bootstrap.

I think that Foundation is more for Web design, and Bootstrap is more a UI framework, that is completely two different things.
Foundation and Bootstrap are both awesome things!
Haven’t tried Foundation. I have been using Bootstrap for the past 6 months, and then it was almost complete. But they still manage to make the framework better with every new version!
I love bootstrap because of the built in features and all the YouTube tutorials on it!
