And we need to find a way to stop users like you from posting such threads. :impatient: I think you’re so new to ThemeForest, that you first downloaded the theme before you registered here.
Yes and excuse me? I was told that this is a user forum where I could ask questions about my use of UNITE in ThemeForest. What am I suppose to do? jorge
I think hes talking about your user name not having a buyers badge, without one it looks like the theme you downloaded/bought from where ever is not an official buy from themeforest if you have an account where you purchased the theme from I would log into that account

Thanks for the reply. I had a web designer build my site and I purchased UNITE as a WP theme. He provided a link for me to ask specific questions as they relate to the use of the theme, and I signed up with my username as posted.

I am sorry if I am somewhere I am not suppose to be. Would appreciate being guided to the appropriate forum. Regards, jorge
simply ask the designer that built your site how to stop bots as it is a WP thing not a theme issue

I have and he said that while building the site, this is where he went with questions? So once I have purchased, say UNITE , I am done, no forum help with the theme? I was on a WP forum, they told me I needed to be here as well….as i am a .com I am very confused.

Just to make it clear, first you purchased the theme and after that you signed up for a ThemeForest account? :D

Yes, I purchased UNITE for $37, had it installed in WP. Now I have registered here, as a user?

EDIT :Removed the block quotes

the problem is you do not have a buyers badge on your account so we don’t know if you really purchased the theme

Oh… well I did. How do I get the badge to appear? Through the original login/registration when purchased?

I am a user, not a web designer, and am wanting to be able to ask others about my Theme(s) I bought in ThemeForest. (I have another as well). Is this the correct forum? Thanks, jorge

I have contacted the web designer and he will address the BOT issue. He said that it was not a Theme issue. I should of just made a post as newbie who wants to learn more about his Themes, as a user. My apologies. jorge

Unfortunately it seems like your web designer must have done the buying, therefore his account here has a buyer’s badge and yours doesn’t.

Theme authors are very protective against people seeking support when their theme is an unofficial copy so you’re unlikely to find much help without the buyer badge. In future it’s probably best to buy the theme yourself and send it to your designer, that way you have proof of purchase.

In the meantime, as has been mentioned the bots issue isn’t to do with your theme anyway, all sites have bot and spam trouble and Google or your website guy should be able to give you advice on how to stop it :)

I had my web designer purchase them (have two web sites) he gave me the following links: if you just go to themeforest.net, create a user account, then you can find your theme and post questions there. that’s what i had to do for someone else’s site. link to theme: http://themeforest.net/item/unite-wordpress-business-magazine-theme/90959
