I recently purchased a template in the HTML Template category, and it was only listed for a day or two and know it’s gone.

Just curious into the reason why it was taken/deleted from being sold.

Template name was “Loop Theme” anybody have any ideas??

Like iPad said, usually the author has deleted it.

But will this still give authors privileges to use the file. If not, should we be able to receive a refund.

Just some questions that crossed my mind and would really like to hear the answers.

I gathered it was taken down by the owner/themeforest but my concern is for what reason, was it a copyright issue with the template or something else.

And like kevinsturf said would we be still able to use it?

I’ve had this happen to a couple of themes I purchased.

They’d go missing from the main site, but stay in my “downloads” section for a week or two. I thought that was odd, but at least I still had access to the files.

Now, the files are gone from my “downloads” section as well.

Seems like there needs to be some sort of recourse for the buyers here.

What happens if the files are deleted before the buyer has an opportunity to download them?

Are they just SOL ?
