A friend of mine created the background music for the families who were hurt by the Colorado Shootings. I added some guitar to the track and I’m having an issue in pro tools when I bounce the track down, the tuning of the song becomes a half step lower. I thought it could be a sample rate issue, but I have everything set to 48k sample. I’m getting back into recording after a couple of years off… so I’m a bit rusty. Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you sure that 48kHz is set in bounce-to-disc dialogue, too?

I’m pretty sure it was set to 48khz when I bounced it down last night. I will give it another go when I get home from work tonight, but I’m almost positive I didn’t change the settings. I’m wondering if it has something to do with sound cloud changing to their default 44khz?

Could be. Are you trying to upload 48k or 44k file to sound cloud?
